So we finally have made baby steps at relocating to Austin. We started our jobs last week and are trying to find somewhere to live that's in between both our jobs.

We also got a couple acoustic shows on the schedule that we are really looking forward to doing. So go and check it out on our myspace page.

We are in Houston this weekend attending the rodeo cookoff that we go to every year. It's so much fun!

Next weekend we will make the short hike down to South Texas for our cousin's 8th birthday. Should be a birthday to remember, just as it was last year.

Ok well I haven't updated this in a while and a lot has happened.....

1. We moved from Dallas and are planning on moving to Austin as soon as we get jobs there.

2. We had an amazing Christmas in both Eden and Portland with the family and found out we will be having another cousin in the mix soon.

3. We spent New Year's in New Braunfels at a little bar with friends.

4. We are planning on recording an album in the next couple months with good friends Keegan Reed and Brandon Hodges in New Braunfels,Tx, while looking for band members in the Austin area.

5. I had a clean bill of health on scans and have been recovering really well.

Wally is gone and Amy is home......We are all so relieved and can't wait to get back to the normal functioning of daily activities and our music. Thank you to everyone for your support through all of this Tumor mess but we are on our way back to normalcy. Here are some pics from pre-surgery as well as post-surgery.

The family made tshirts as to what I needed to remember about all of them and wore them out to dinner.

April was feeling a little light headed when she first saw me so they gave her a wet rag and she wrapped it around her head like mine....

I got my hair washed after they took off the wrap and catheter in my head. It felt good to have off....my ears were killing me. The incision looks like a little headband so that's cool. The nurses kept asking who the patient was once I got to my own room.

Tumor Time

Recently Amy was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a walnut in the central ventricle of her brain. They believe it to be benign and we will continue on with surgery this next week or so down at MD Anderson in Houston. We have had such a strong support group and prayers that we are truly blessed. Our family and friends have completely taken a positive outlook on on this and only great things will come.......here are some pics of the little "surprise going-away-tumor party" that April threw for Amy a couple weekends ago.

Headed back into the studio

We are headed to Austin again this weekend to record some vocals for our song "I Would"......pretty excited. This time we are recording with friends Ben and Matt.....and the best part about it is that they are doing it for FREE!

Best SHOW so far

We recently played down in New Braunfels, TX at the RIVER ROAD ICE HOUSE.

We were soooooooooooo excited to see so many people out there...---quick shout out to our Houston friends (Nicole and Morgan), Austin gang (Meredith, JR, Beth, David, Drew, Katie, Poppy, Wes) and our FAMILY that came from their family reunion in Seguin. It couldn't have been a better place to be on Saturday night.
