OUR NEW HOME...promise this time:)

So I know we teased you before with finding a new home but it's for real this time.....We are going to be new renters . It's perfect for us and as my mom would say, please excuse the mess in the pictures.

Immediately we knew it was the house for us when we walked up to an A&M mailbox cover:). It's got a nice backyard for the doggies and covered porch in the back for them to lay under.

The inside is precious. It has a living/dining room combo when you first walk in that leads back to the kitchen and another "living" area. So that's where our guests will stay and where we will watch movies. My room has a little side room that connects to it where we'll put our music stuff probably. Needless to say we are very excited to move in and will be looking forward to doing so the first week of December YAY....come and visit us.

Let the Wedding Location Scouting begin....

So we took off for the FRIO river this past weekend to embark on what many newly engaged couples have done.....scouting out the wedding "SPOT". Since we've basically grown up on the Frio River April and Keith felt as though it should definately be a contender in the location for their wedding to take place next year. So, here are some pics of the new golf course that is right by our place . The weather was great and since this was the time of year the EVENT will take place next year we had great hopes that it will turn out nicely next year. April felt this place had character with the little woodsy feel, and the quaint little stream that flows throw the ceremony spot....but also has a covered area in case of bad weather, which the mothers so tastefully pointed out at each location. One of the great things about this place though is the green green golf course in the background. So what does everyone think?

Mom came into town to visit her sweet girls....and to take a trip to Canton, TX for the first Monday Trade Days. We had a blast. We ate Funnel cake....as you will see in the picture with the powdered sugar all of the front of Amy. We bought Christmas gifts....if you're lucky you may be a lucky recipient of one of the gifts. We took all day looking for the Queen of the Trailer Park booth....and whattaya know...we found it at the very end. All in all, it was a great time even though we missed our cousin Kim, and our good friend Meredith and her mom Patsy- Maybe next year ladies.

Cuz the Cousins are awesome!!!

The Boatmans (Jeff, Kimberly, Ana, and Wyatt) are expecting a new addition to the family any day now....April is hoping that Cody Christopher Boatman doesn't arrive until the 7th....which may in deed be the case at this point. Meanwhile....his brother and sister have gone on with their lives, including Trick-Or-Treating. They were not going to let their baby brother ruin their candy raiding night of dressing up..... Ana was Hannah Montana, which she pulled off in style. Some day soon she'll be putting on concerts like Hannah Montana and her cool cousins (Amy and April ) do. Wyatt was the best looking spidey (Spider Man) we've ever seen... He definately has the energy to be Spidey.

Congressman Ralph Hall

We had the pleasure of singing the national anthem at a political function for Ralph Hall in Rockwall, Tx. He was a very humorous and kind man and we were honored to be asked to be a part of it. Although, Amy's voice was gone up until the day of.....we pulled it off! Hopefully we'll have a video to post soon of our republican anthem debut.

Jump Start on Halloween

We decided that because we were going to be busy the weekend of Halloween, we dressed up the weekend before instead. So after some serious thought at a Miranda Lambert concert, Miranda
and I decided to go Amy Winehouse and pregno Nicole Richie....and I couldn't have been Nicole without my JOEL Madden.....thanks Mattie. The night was fun and of course we were the only ones dressed out on the town. Glad we weren't in like a pig costume or something:)

" NO PICTURES PLEASE"

Halloween Night

Well after a tedious night of crafting April had her finished product of a BARBIE box.....she went as the April Showers barbie. Her office was very impressed with her attention to detail and creativity:), even though they didn't let her enter the contest.

Amy went as Foxy Cleopatra from Austin Powers. Her team at work went as a group theme. No one recognized her underneath all that head of hair...(which she wore ALLLL day)

That night we attended a Halloween party at Republic....there were some memorable costumes for sure:)
